About Highway 71

Nestled just off Highway 71 in the heart of Spicewood, 71 Brewing is a warm, family-owned Hill Country retreat where craft beer, pizza, and pickleball come together in perfect harmony.

The brewery is the passion project of two couples, Kevin and Staci Caputo and Les and Shannon Butler, who shared a heartfelt vision: create a space where friends can unplug, reconnect, and have fun.

What started as a taproom has blossomed into a vibrant hub featuring great craft brewed beers, climate-controlled pickleball courts, golf simulators (Oct), inviting lounge areas, live music friday nights, wellness-forward non-alcoholic drinks, and a pizza truck.

At the core of 71 Brewing is a people-first philosophy: movement, music, good food, cold drinks, and genuine connection. Whether you’re here for a solo paddle, family gathering, or date night -  our doors, and our hearts, are wide open.
